Solo parenting means making every call alone — the schedule, the costs, the decisions a co-parent would normally share. We don't yet know if an app built for two households can actually help with that, or what it would need to look like if it did. That's what we're researching: whether there's a real need here, and what would genuinely make a difference rather than just co-parenting with a parent removed.
Solo parents reaching out and telling us what's missing is what started this.
We're figuring out what solo parenting actually needs from an app like this.
No date yet — we'd rather say so than invent one.
You can create an account, but we will not pretend it is built for you yet. The calendar, messages and cost tracking are all designed around a child moving between households.
We do not have a date. It is in research, and we would rather give you no date than one we miss.
The Cofamly Library is free to read, and Eden — our AI coach — arrives in the next update.

Cofamly started as a tool for two households sharing one child. Solo parents reaching out and asking if it could work for them made us realise we don't actually know — so we're finding out properly instead of guessing.
Mostly that doing it alone means there's no one to share the schedule, the costs or the decisions with — the exact three things Cofamly already helps co-parents split. We're still working out whether solving that for one parent looks the same, or needs something different.
